NOTE: The Wednesday July 3 meeting will be ONLINE ONLY
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm. An invitation for the sitting group comes out every Monday. On the first Wednesday of the month, we hold a hybrid in-person/Zoom session at a location in Edgewater. We will share the address when you RSVP. The remaining Wednesdays, we meet online.
Practice includes silent or guided meditation, Dharma talk or activity, and discussion. We are a peer-led sitting group. Many members of the group volunteer to lead our meetings, providing a variety of topics and talks primarily in the Buddhist Theravada tradition. All who practice with us are welcome to lead a session when they feel ready.
We welcome you —whether you’re new to meditation, an experienced practitioner, or anywhere in between. We seek to promote the inclusion and participation of people of diverse identities, including those of all races, ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, classes, religions, political views, abilities, and ages, that all may feel welcome, safe and respected within this community.
