New Year's Retreat with Andrew Getz: The Alchemy of Mindfulness (Online)

The Buddhist texts compare the mind to gold which is pliant, malleable and luminous. However, the mind is often obscured by the five hindrances which are likened to impurities that make gold brittle and hard to work with. During this retreat we will explore the alchemy of mindfulness that has the power to liberate the mind from these hindrances in both our practice and our lives.

This retreat will take place online, on Zoom

The schedule will include periods of guided sitting meditation, Dhamma talks , Q&A, and breakout groups for Dhamma inquiry.

This retreat is appropriate for all levels of experience, beginners are welcome!

Prior to the retreat, we will email you more details, including an online "Home Page" that will hold all the information you need for this retreat, including the schedule and Zoom information.
