North Chicago (Mondays at 7pm)
We are located at 4636 N. Ravenswood Ave, Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60640 (map). We do 45 minutes of sitting meditation followed by group discussion. Our teacher Santikaro comes about once a month to give dhamma instruction. Please contact brad.potts1(at)gmail.com for more information. The downstairs door is locked so newcomers should notify Brad in advance.
Downtown Chicago (Tuesdays at 7pm)
Lakeside Vipassana, Tuesday evenings from 7- 9 pm near Pearson and Lake Shore Dr (map). The evening will include a period of sitting (and occasional walking) meditation, practice discussion, tea and listening to a dharma talk. Visiting teachers will occasionally come to give a dharma talk.
First Tuesdays of the month are new practictioners night downtown. Please arrive at 6:30pm for a 25 minute meditation instruction before the sit and talk. For more information please email Greg at glg222(at)gmail.com.

Also at the Ravenswood location, meetings will be held the third Sunday of each month from 4-6 pm, and includes a period of meditation followed by a recorded Dharma talk and discussion.
