For those of you who knew her, you know of Ginny’s great heart, which she shared with all of us in her dharma teaching and her friendship.

REAL HAPPINESS: THE POWER OF MEDITATION
with Sharon SalzbergHappiness is not determined by the inevitable ups and downs of life. It begins with imagining that stable and open happiness exists in a real way. Explore your notions of strength, joy, aloneness, and aspiration. All of these have a role that challenges and expands your concept of real happiness and where to find it. Wisdom also is needed to make happiness directly possible and available to you in your current situation, whatever it is. This does not have to do with denying pain and endlessly seeking pleasure. Nor is it about constantly seeking intensity in order to feel alive. Rather, happiness is finding a transformed relationship to all of life’s experiences—pleasant, painful, and neutral. This transformation is based on cultivating your power of awareness.
